Meet the Doctor
Dr. O’Brien is a native of Auburn, Alabama and a graduate of Auburn University and the UAB School of Dentistry. He completed one year of General Practice training at Naval Dental Clinic, San Diego, followed by active duty service, including assignment as the Dental Officer for the famed U. S. Navy Blue Angels, before returning to Auburn in 1986 to begin private practice. Establishing long term relationships with his patients and working with a great team are two of the things Dr. O’Brien enjoys most about his job.
As a dentist, Dr. O’Brien makes continuing education in the latest dental research a priority. His philosophy is that the best dental health is achieved when the dentist is educated in current research and maintains an ongoing relationship with each patient. He looks forward to working together with you to achieve and maintain a healthy smile.
Dr. O’Brien is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Academy of General Dentistry, The American Dental Association, The Alabama Dental Association and is the Director of the Regional Center for Dental Medicine for East Alabama and West Georgia.
